French international Yohan Cabaye joins Al Nasr Club for the start of the 2018/19 season…

While there’s certainly plenty of international football news going around at the moment (did you catch the England v Colombia game last night?), Dubai’s Al Nasr Club have also been making waves at home.

On Tuesday evening, the club affectionately known as The Blue Wave announced a huge coup for their 2018/19 season in the Arabian Gulf League with the signing of former Crystal Palace midfielder and French international player Yohan Cabaye.

FourFourTwo Arabia reports that the 32-year old 2014 World Cup starter has signed a two-year contract with the club and is set to join the side on July 1 for training before the new season kicks off in September.

As you can expect, Al Nasr fans are beyond excited to welcome Cabaye into the fold and have expressed as much in the comments of the official announcement on the club’s social media channels.
