Spring break is here, and if you’re looking for ways to keep your little ones engaged during the school holidays, you should definitely head to Dubai Garden Glow.

Located in Zabeel Park, Dubai Garden Glow is the largest attraction of its kind in the Middle East. The park comes to life after dark, lit up with hundreds of spectacular installations.

A team of 500 artists from all over the world worked to create the sculptures, which are illuminated with more than 10 million energy efficient LED lights.

Spread across 100 acres, you’ll wander through enchanted forests, serene underwater scenes and vibrant tunnels, encountering all kinds of colourful creatures along the way.

Or if your child is a little paleontologist in the making, they can head to the Dinosaur Park. The park features more than 100 life-sized beasts which are brought to life using state-of-the-art animatronics.

You’ll witness the prehistoric creatures swinging their tails, opening their mouths, and popping out of eggs.

At the Dinosaur Lab, you can witness a baby dinosaur hatching out of an egg, while at the Dinosaur Museum, you’ll find replicas of their skeletons on display.

Be sure to watch out for the dinosaur who has escaped from the park, and roams about the grounds, chasing unsuspecting visitors. See if you can get a selfie with him (before he tries to take a snap at you).

A brand new attraction for this season is a huge ice park, constructed from 5000 tonnes of ice and maintained at a chilly temperature of -7 to -8 degrees (don’t worry, you’ll be given a coat, so you’ll stay nice and toasty).

You’ll find everything from dinosaurs to dragons, penguins to polar bears, and a whole section dedicated to frozen versions of Dubai’s landmarks, including the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, and the Deira Clocktower. There’s even a Dubai desert scene, complete with camels.

It’s not just amazing to look at – it’s super interactive, too. You can chill out in a real igloo made from ice, or sit on a frozen throne.

So, there you have it – Dubai Garden Glow offers three unique destinations in one, and hours of fun. What are you waiting for?
