Warning: This mind-blowing drone photo of Dubai may induce serious vertigo.

Dubai’s staggering collection of skyscrapers are pretty photogenic from any angle – but one UAE-based photographer has captured the skyline from a whole new perspective.

The photographer, who goes by the name @bachir_photo_phactory on Instagram, has just been named among the winners of an international aerial photography competition.

Organised by Dronestagram, the annual contest receives thousands of entries from professional photographers and amateur drone photo enthusiasts all over the world.

Here is the image, titled ‘Concrete Jungle’, that claimed first place in the Urban category:

The winning photos were selected by a panel of photography experts from National Geographic, as well as the Dronestagram team.
