Busta Rhymes and Tyga to perform in Dubai this weekend
Dubai’s self-proclaimed ‘super-venue’ is wrapping up its first season with a bang.
BASE, the new open-air club in the Dubai Design District, has announced that hip hop stars Busta Rhyme and Tyga will be headlining its closing weekend.
Rapper Busta Rhymes will perform on Thursday night, while Tyga will take to the stage on Saturday night, before the club closes its doors for the summer months.
An 11-time Grammy nominee, Busta Rhymes is known for his rapid-fire rapping style, with hits like Woo Hah!! (Got You All In Check), Dangerous and What’s It Gonna Be?!. The legendary lyricist also graced our fair emirate in October, headlining the opening of the VIP Room.

In recent months, Tyga has made headlines for his relationship (and subsequent break up) with Kylie Jenner. The 27-year-old is expected to perform tracks like Rack City, Faded and Feel Me.
On Friday, BASE will be the official after party venue for Arab Fashion Week, with a performance from Birthday Sex rapper Jeremih, as well as a whole host of internationally renowned DJs, including M.O.S, Magnum, AIK and Chuck Wonderland.
The club will open its doors from 10pm till 3am, with free entry for ladies all night long, and free entry for guys until 11pm (after then, you’ll have to pay a cover charge of Dhs200). There are also more than 100 tables available to book, starting from a minimum spend of Dhs2000.
BASE launched in April, promising to offer a nightclub experience to rival Ibiza and Las Vegas. The club secured 50 Cent and Axwell as its opening acts, and has hinted at even more A-listers to come, including Calvin Harris, A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa and Pharrell Williams.
