FYI, it costs Dhs50 to park your car at Dubai Parks & Resorts during the day
Visiting Motiongate, Bollywood Parks or Legoland soon? Read this…
Budgeting for a day trip to Dubai Parks & Resorts? Well you’ll have to factor in a little bit more cash, as it costs Dhs50 to park your car at any of the theme parks there (including the shopping and dining complex Riverland).
The good news is that parking is free after 6.30pm, so if you just want to pop to Riverland for dinner, go after then to park for free (here’s a list of all of the shops and restaurants that you’ll find there). But if you want to really experience the parks, you’ll probably want to get there earlier: Legoland closes at 6pm; Motiongate at 7pm on weekdays and 9pm weekends, and Bollywood at 8pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends.
The general parking at the theme parks costs Dhs50, while preferred general parking costs Dhs80 (and from these two options you then catch a free tram to the action).
As a comparison, at Disneyland in Orlando you’ll pay Dhs73 (20 USD) to park your car for the day, at Disneyland Paris you’ll pay Dhs77 (20 Euro) and at Hong Kong Disneyland you’ll pay Dhs94 (200 HKD).
Covered ‘VIP’ parking is double the price at Dhs100, while valet parking will set you back triple: Dhs150. People who hold VIP annual passes get free valet parking year ’round (regular annual passes get free regular parking).
If you visit all three theme parks in one day you’ll only have to pay for parking once: head here for more information about the Dubai Parks carpark and transport options.
Also, we visited Motiongate on the weekend, and so have updated our list of which rides are open, and which aren’t: here it is.
