UAE announces three days of mourning after the passing of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed
The UAE President’s brother passed away in the early hours of this morning…
H.H. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the brother of UAE president H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, passed away today, Thursday, July 27.
He held the position of Chairman of the Maritime Port Authority in Abu Dhabi and was a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
The Presidential Court has declared three days of official mourning with flags at half-mast from today until the end of Saturday, July 29.

A statement on Emirates News Agency (WAM) read: “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful… With hearts faithful to God’s decree and destiny, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan mourns his late brother, H.H. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, who passed away today.”
