UAE weather warning: Hailstones, flooding, and strong winds in parts of country
Looks like winter is not over just yet…
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) released a warning after heavy rain and hailstones were spotted in several parts of the UAE yesterday, Thursday, March 2, including Fujairah, Khor Fakkan, and Sharjah.
The NCM issued a yellow warning for rain, advising the community to be ‘on the lookout if you go for outdoor activities’ in the north and eastern emirates. The alert warns motorists to avoid driving in the rain, drive with caution, turn on low-beam headlights, and stay tuned for more weather updates.
