Sponsored: A night to remember…

When we announced the return of What’s On The Menu to Dubai, we received an overwhelming response from you, our dear readers, eager to join us for a delicious dinner at Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club.

On the night of the event on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, we invited 10 guests and their plus ones to enjoy a meal at Origins restaurant in the all-new Dubai Marina hotel. The event, which is basically a What’s On version of a chef’s tasting table proved to be one to remember for both, the team and our lovely guests. In the gallery and video below, you will find some of the best moments of the night.

As you can probably tell from the photos above, the night was a huge success packed with amazing views, excellent food and more importantly cool vibes.

Our lovely guests were able to dine on a number of lip-smacking dishes from a three-course menu created by the team at Origin restaurant led by chef Ahmed.

To start the night off, there was a Vida special salad, Asian delight shrimp and salmon super bowl. But it was the creamy hummus with pickled lemon and the Instagrammable oysters with mignonette which was a clear favourite with our guests.

For mains, there was a cooked-to-perfection Angus beef tenderloin with truffle mash, grilled salmon with ratatouille, a shish tawook served on a miniature grill, and a colourful vegan eggplant with quinoa dish.

For sweet tooths, the dessert stole the show. Beautifully plated on an afternoon tea-tiered display, guests were all smiles when this beauty was bought to the table. Treats included chocolate brownies, lemon meringue tarts, coffee Madeline, a mixed berry cheesecake and a delicious red velvet cake that ended the night on an even sweeter note.

Even after the guests were done with their desserts, the chatter and laughter continued making us highly consider that this was an event well done.

And of course, we couldn’t have done it without the amazing team at Origins and Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club so we would like to take this moment to once again thank our hosts for a wonderfully fun – and filling – evening.
