After eight years, Coya Dubai is taking a summer break, closing its doors on Wednesday July 20 until September. But saying ‘so long’ in style, the beautiful Peruvian spot is throwing one final party this season on Monday July 18. The event will be co-hosted by Barro Negro Athens, the cutting-edge Greek nightspot featured in the prestigious World’s 50 Best Bar List 2021. Coya promises to come back bigger, bolder and better than before when it reopens in September, so we can’t wait to see what comes next.

Laugh out loud at a comedy gig
Dubai’s favourite comedy club returns with three new international acts this July. British comedian Paul Tonkinson, American act Lisa Alvarado and comedy circuit favourite Pierre Hollins will deliver a laugh-a-minute show at venues across the city. Rock out at a top live music night
The UAE’s beloved party bar Lock, Stock & Barrel now has three branches across the city. And cementing its status as the ultimate home of live music, they’ve teamed up with Jack Daniel’s for a city-wide battle of the bands, with the winning act set to take home Dhs35,000. The fifth heat takes place on Wednesday July 20 at the Barsha Heights venue.

Fill the summer holiday with a fun new activity
Love a game of mini-golf? The kids will love it as well, especially at this venue. Over the summer, kids aged five to 12 can work on their swing for a reduced price of Dhs90. The mini-golf experience set in the dark, illuminated by neon black lighting and 3D effects that completely cover the walls and floor of the indoor course. Head to drinks at a cool new cocktail bar
We’re already big fans of Salmon Guru, the recently opened cocktail bar inside the ME Dubai. But if you’ve not visited yet, here’s a new reason to visit – they’ve just launched a new happy hour.
