Free parking in Sharjah
Sharjah Municipality has announced free public parking throughout the city, from Tuesday December 1 until Thursday December 3 – paid parking will resume on Saturday December 5.
Do take note where you park, however, as some spots in Sharjah are not included in the free parking zones.
Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazien, director of Public Parking Department at Sharjah Municipality, reminded motorists that “This decision excludes the parking zones that are subject to parking fees on all days of the week including Fridays and public holidays,” he said.
These paid parking zones are identified by blue signs, which indicate that the area is subject to fees every day of the week from 8am until 10pm.
