What’s On has details on the new music festival featuring Grammy Award winner DJ Mark Ronson and Labrinth at Abu Dhabi Golf Club in October.

Fans of the British DJ Mark Ronson can catch him behind the decks at a brand new music festival in the city. The Green Grooves concert, which will be able to accommodate up to 10,000 people, will be hosted at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club on October 22.

The Abu Dhabi gig comes after headlining at the inaugural DXBeach Festival in April of this year.

The Grammy Award winner’s latest album, Uptown Special, went on to become hit No. 1 in the UK charts earlier this year and featured the massively popular Uptown Funk, with vocals from Bruno Mars. The song went on to spend fourteen consecutive weeks at the top spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 and has been dubbed the unofficial ‘song of the summer’ for 2015 by various news outlets.

UK singer-songwriter Labrinth will join Ronson onstage, as another headliner at the new music festival. Best know for his No. 1 single, Beneath Your Beautiful, with Emeli Sande the record producer has also worked with Tinie Tempah and Ed Sheeran.

Early bird tickets are on sale now. The event is only open to those aged 18 years and older. Parents must accompany ticket holders aged 18 to 21 years.
