1. Mama Zonia

Sobe, located on the far-west crescent of the Palm, is definitely worth hotfooting over town for on a Thursday evening.Open from 4pm, it’s a relaxed and stunning terrace, overlooking breathtaking views of the ocean. By night, it transforms into a funky, neon lit hangout quite unlike anything you’ve experienced before. 3. Treehouse

Treehouse is a cool urban hangout, perfect for sundowners with epic views of the Burj Khalifa and downtown buildings. Set alfresco at Taj Dubai, you’ll be eased into the weekend listening to funky house hits from the DJ, with a happy hour running from 6pm to 9pm.

4. Twenty-Three

This great new rooftop bar at the new Grand Plaza Movenpick Hotel is definitely one for the views, with a glass-fronted terrace to watch the sun go down over The Palm. 5. folly by Nick & Scott

Folly is the brainchild of homegrown heroes Nick Alvis and Scott Price. Set over three split-level floors, it has a kitchen bar, private balcony for a dining experience for up to ten people and of course, a garden terrace and lounge with spectacular Madinat views. The aptly named Level 43 is found on, you probably guessed it, Level 43 of the Four Points by Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Road. It’s got stunning panoramic views of the city, and an impressive cocktail list to match.
