HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai has paid a visit to Dubai’s Museum of the Future. Currently under construction, Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on the new attractions progress at his visit over the weekend.

It must be making pretty steady progress, as it was only back in November that the Dubai Future Foundation announced that the full structure had been completed.
The large silver structure is designed in the shape of an eye, hollowed out in the middle and is set to be one of Dubai’s must-visit attractions when it opens.
The Museum of the Future was first announced in 2015, and has been under construction ever since in front of Emirates Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road.
“The Museum of the Future will be an incubator for ideas, a driver for innovation, and a destination for inventors and entrepreneurs from around the world,” HH Sheikh Mohammed has previously said.
Although originally set for a 2019 opening, Dubai Media Office announced at the end of last year the attraction will now open in 2020.
