The UAE was ranked the 10th best country in the world to live and work in HSBC’s annual Expat Explorer report. The UAE dropped three places after ranking 7th in 2017.
More than half of the 859 expats in the UAE interviewed as part of the survey said the reason they relocated to the UAE was the chance to increase their earnings. And more than a fifth said their salaries doubled when they made the move.
