Say Ciao to Papas: Dubai Marina has a playful new Italian eatery, and it’s set to bring a ‘pizza’ La Dolce Vita to the city.

Now officially welcoming guests, the personality-packed Italian restaurant is the latest venture from Solutions Group, and replaces Marina Social in the InterContinental Dubai Marina.

Designed to look like a wholesome trattoria that’s been plucked straight from the streets of Rome or Florence, the kitsch decor is warm and inviting. Exposed brickwork and twinkling chandeliers create a relaxing atmosphere, with shades of mustard, magenta and orange adding welcome pops of colour to the space. There’s even a wine window at the entrance, where you can order a glass of grape and capture the perfect Instagram moment.

Inside, there’s also an open, glass-walled kitchen, where guests can watch the chefs at work, where fresh pasta will hang in neat rows, just like Nonna would have made it.

Outside, the venue’s gorgeous Marina-facing terrace will offer some of the most sought-after tables in the city, where traditional Italian flavours can be enjoyed against the backdrop of the twinkling Marina skyline.

Guests are invited to cosy in to one of the many booths if dining in a big group, or perch up at a table for two during a romantic date night, and look forward to a crowd-pleasing menu of Italian classics. Must-tries include the panzanella, burrata pizza, veal ossobuco and Sicilian cannoli.

There will be an array of weekly deals to keep tummies fed and dirhams saved, including a Friday aperitivo to help you wind into the weekend, and a Saturday brunch that will pair a curated signature menu with free-flowing limoncello, negroni and aperol drinks.

A ladies’ night will also invite you to assemble your besties for glasses of prosecco paired with pasta or pizza.
