The bubble run is back for more poppin' fun at Expo City
Get ready for a bubbly good time…
Being healthy doesn’t have to equal forced gym visits for treadmill runs. In Dubai, there are plenty of ways to keep fit and still have fun while torching those calories. One way is by signing up for one of the many fun runs that take place in the city and one you don’t want to miss is the return of the bubble run.
After first taking place in February 2023 on Bluewaters, the Bubble Run returns in January 2024, this time taking place at Expo City on Saturday January 20.
For those who aren’t familiar, the Bubble Run is a non-competitive run that is open to everyone.
This time around, the run will navigate through Expo City with two courses of 4km and 8km to choose from, with multiple bubble zones. But it’s not just for show – because, where’s the fun in that? Participants of the run will end up being covered head to toe with foam exploding from giant cannons.

Besides this, runners can expect all kinds of family-friendly entertainment. Once you’ve finished the race, stick around at the after-race village for activities for the youngsters and a DJ to keep the crowd cheering and on their feet. All racers will receive a medal and a goodie bag with gifts.
Runners will set off at 10-minute intervals between 4pm and 4.30pm, depending on whether they’re doing the 4km or 8km race.

You can register here for early bird tickets until December 10, which are priced at Dhs35 for under 4s, Dhs75 for kids aged 5 to 17, and Dhs165 for adults doing the 4km route. Those tackling the 8km route will pay Dhs35 for under 4s, Dhs95 for kids aged 5 to 17, and Dhs185 for adults.
