One of the city’s most loved golfing destinations, The Els Club, is gearing up to celebrate its 15th anniversary with a full-day extravaganza on Saturday, October 14.
The Open Day invites all from far and wide to come and participate in celebrating 15 years of golfing luxury, complete with a party for all ages. Best of all the event, which will take place from 3pm to 11pm, is free entry.
At the Open Day, expect to indulge in a brilliantly good braai – a grill on an open fire – paired with live entertainment, music and a roster of delicious dishes. Another exciting element is the potijie cooking showdown, a competition of traditional South-African outdoor cooking.

There is much to look forward to at the event besides the entertainment and the food. The birthday celebration is the perfect fiesta spot for all ages, with activities that will keep your little ones busy and happy, including bouncy castles and more. If you’ve got furry friends in tow, bring them along, because it’s a dog-friendly birthday party.
