Your next Emirates flight is going to look a little different
So refreshing…
Love travelling by Emirates? The next time you have a flight to catch, you may notice something a little different about the aircraft. The distinctive brand has undergone a bit of a makeover, thankfully without losing that iconic Emirates Airline look.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines said, “Aircraft livery is the most instantly recognisable brand real estate for any airline. It’s a visual representation of our unique identity, something we wear proudly, and display in all the cities we fly to around the world.”
Speaking on the refreshing new look, Sir Tim Clark said, “We’re refreshing our livery to keep it modern, without losing the key elements of our identity such as the UAE flag on our tailfin and the Arabic calligraphy.”
So, what’s different?
Recognizable changes have been made to the tailfin and wingtips. In the new design, the UAE flag on the tailfin is more dynamic and flowing with a 3D effect artwork.
The wingtips have been painted red with the Emirates logo (in Arabic calligraphy) standing out in white (pictured above right). Those on board with a window seat will be able to see the UAE flag colours painted on the wingtips facing the body of an aircraft (pictured above left).
The signature gold Emirates letterings across the body of the plane is made bolder and 32.5 per cent larger. On the ‘belly’ of the aircraft, Emirates has kept its iconic red branding which it introduced in 2005. The website has been dropped from the design.
