New vending machines across UAE provide fresh bread to residents in need

The Bread for All initiative will provide underprivileged families and individuals in Dubai with fresh bread at various time a day.
In collaboration with Aswaaq supermarkets, the smart vending machines have been placed in the Al Mizhar, Al Warqa’a, Mirdif, Nad Alsheba, Nadd Al Hamar, Al Qouz, and Al Bada’a branches.
With the push of a button, the digitally-programmed machines prepare the bread and dispense it free of charge to those in need.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Global Center for Endowment Consultancy (MBRGCEC) announced the launch of the digital initiative to fulfill the vision of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum: “In the UAE, no one sleeps hungry or in need. No one is left”.
The Bread for All initiative allows members of the community to contribute towards the cause through various channels. Those wanting to donate can do so directly through the vending machines; via the Dubai Now app; the website; or through SMS to 3656 for an Dhs10 donation, 3658 for Dhs50, 3659 for Dhs100, or to 3679 for Dhs500.
The Ruler of Dubai’s humanitarian enterprise, MBRGCEC, continuously works to support and empower disadvantaged communities in the UAE and around the world with over 30 different initiatives, including the UAE water aid foundation called Suqia, and UAE Food Bank which collects surplus food from hotels and restaurants to provide for disadvantaged communities in the UAE. HH Sheikh Mohammed has recently donated Dhs50 million to deliver relief to the victims of the floods in Pakistan.
