UAE weekend weather: Cloudy with a chance of rainfall
It’s maybe not the weekend for sunbathing…
As is the norm at this time of year, the Dubai weather has been a little unpredictable lately. One day will be glorious sunshine and the next, there’s fog blanketing the city or gloomy skies. It looks like we can expect some rainfall this weekend.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) there’s a high chance of clouds and subsequent rainfall in the UAE this weekend, so if you were planning a big pool day, it might be better to hold off until the day of.
It looks like the rain and gloomy skies are once again being caused by cloud seeding, judging by the NCMS Twitter page, which has taken to using the hashtags ‘rain’ and ‘cloud seeding’ when posting about the rainy weather in the UAE.

So what can we expect from the UAE weather this weekend?
On Friday, February 26 it’s expected to be cloudy and hazy with rainfall expected over the Eastern and Northern areas of the UAE. Temperatures are also expected to drop so don’t forget your jacket if you’re heading out and about.
There’s expected to be some humidity by the evening, stretching into Saturday morning with some mist and fog. It looks like the rain might have cleared up by Saturday day time, however expect some cloud and haze, plus another drop in temperatures.
Temperatures in internal areas are expected to reach a high of 25 to 30 degrees Celsius and lows of 15 to 19 degrees Celsius. Waters are expected to be rough in the Arabian Gulf.
