Encounter animals at this cool tropical New Year's Eve party

Still wondering what to do this New Year’s Eve? If you’re looking to spend this year’s with the whole family and do something a little different, how does a tropical party, complete with food, drinks and an animal encounter or two, sound?

Enter The Green Planet, Dubai’s indoor bio-dome that is home to over 3,000 tropical plants and animals. It’s throwing a special New Year’s Eve party and you’re invited. As well as a huge buffet and unlimited drinks, you’ll have special access to the indoor rainforest and animal encounters.

The Tropical New Year’s 21’ Dinner will take place at The Green Planet Rainforest Cafe on December 31, from 7.30pm to 1.30am. Access to the indoor rainforest will be granted from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and the buffet will run from 8pm to 12am.

Access to the buffet is unlimited and you can expect some real comfort food such as tasty burgers and chicken. From 9pm you can enjoy a selection of premium beverages. From The Green Planet, you’ll be able to see the spectacular fireworks display at Burj Khalifa.

For adults, tickets are priced at Dhs250 inclusive of dinner, soft drinks and juices. It’s Dhs450 inclusive of unlimited house beverages. For children, tickets are priced at Dhs100. A DJ will be on hand to provide the music all night.

You’ll find a number of fascinating animal encounters at the popular Dubai attraction. Go Down Under with a number of animals at the Australian Walkabout, watch sugar gliders jump long distances at the sugar glider encounter or test your nerve at the reptile encounter.
