An exciting new restaurant is opening in Dubai’s Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) this weekend. If you’re familiar with Cinque, the chic Italian restaurant in Five Palm Jumeirah, get ready for a second instalment in sister hotel Five Jumeirah Village.

On Thursday October 22, Trattoria by Cinque will open its doors in the popular neighbourhood, serving up authentic Italian cuisine daily. The menu has been created by award-winning chef, Giuseppe Pezzella, offering a vast selection of pizza and pasta dishes.

While we haven’t seen any sneak peeks of the interiors yet, we’re promised an Instagrammable decor inspired by the Amalfi Coast in the 1960’s. You can expect a lively vibe as well, with Italian music at the heart of the ambience, delivering high energy classic and modern tunes.

Delicious dishes include the 250-year old UNESCO world heritage recipe for Neapolitan pizza and a pasta menu which highlights the different areas of Italy that different types of pasta are from. Chef Giuseppe Pezzella uses his Naples roots to create a traditional menu like only Italians know how.

After the opening on Thursday, Trattoria by Cinque will be open daily between 5pm and 11.30pm, with a happy hour deal every day. Between 6pm and 9pm, guests can enjoy 50 per cent off the beverage menu. Artisanal cocktails include bellini, negroni and Americano, hand-crafted by the team of mixologists.

Cinque at Five Palm Jumeirah has an exciting line-up of weekly events, including a ladies’ night hosted by Secret Parties, so we’re excited to see if similar activations pop up at the new outpost.
