Four new restaurants opening in Dubai this November
From Mexican and Spanish to Asian, there are some amazing new eateries to check out…
Dubai’s foodie scene continues to flourish, with an ever-growing number of homegrown and international restaurants opening their doors in the city.
This month alone, we’ve already welcomed Salt Bae burger in Dubai’s DIFC, beach bar The Bungalow in La Mer and a new prosecco bar and Italian restaurant at Dubai International Airport.
And there’s still more to come. From Meixcan and Spanish to Asian, here are four new restaurants opening in Dubai over the next two weeks.
From November 18: Nido

While we don’t know much about new Downtown tapas bar, Nido, we do know it’ll open its doors this week in the Sheraton Grand hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. A glance at their Instagram shows dishes including Spanish omelette, croquettes and crispy calamari will all be on the menu. Yum.
From November 21: CHINGON
Described as a “sophisticated modern Mexicn eatery”, CHINGON will open its doors this Thursday in the Grand Millennium, Business Bay. As well as Mexican dishes, guests can expect a menu that features influences from Central and South America, with a dedicated raw bar serving up crudo and tartares, as well as sharing dishes such as grilled octopus and whole roasted baby chicken.
From November 24: Shanghai Me
Shanghai Me is an upscale Asian restaurant inspired by the glamour of 1930s Shanghai. Accepting reservations from November 24, it’s housed in The Exchange building in DIFC, and is split between a luxurious bar and lounge, bamboo-lined terrace, restaurant and private dining area. On the menu, guests can expect a blend of flavours from across East Asia, with a mix of lighter plates and more indulgent dishes designed to suit every taste.
From November 25: Amazonico
Prepare to step into the tropics when celebrity hotspot Amazonico opens in DIFC next week. Hailing from Madrid, rainforest-inspired restaurant Amazonico is accepting reservations from Monday November 25. There’s a huge focus on the interiors, which have been designed by award-winning designer, Lázaro Rosa-Violán, and attention-to-detail is evident across the ground floor lounge, first floor restaurant and Copacabana-inspired rooftop bar.
