Expo 2020 organisers are looking to add more dates to their sold-out tours…

It was announced last week that UAE residents would be able to enjoy free tours of the currently under construction Expo 2020 site but if you didn’t already book, tickets are now sold out.

The tour, called The World’s Greatest Show in the Making are running through July and August and aim to give residents a sneak peek into everything Expo 2020 has planned.

If you didn’t manage to snag a much coveted space, fear not, as the Expo 2020 website says that they’re busy working to add more seats, so keep checking their site for availability.

The sold-out bus tours will be taking place every Monday and Wednesday afternoon, and all day Saturdays between Saturday July 20 and Saturday August 31, giving visitors the inside scoop on what will be the first World Expo ever held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region. We reckon new tour dates will be added round then, so keep your diaries free.

With the hotly-anticipated Expo 2020 exhibition rapidly approaching, we’ve been fed many exciting tidbits of information so far about the plans, pavilions and themes; Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability, and with over 25 million visitors from all corners of the globe, it’s sure to be breathtaking.

More than 192 countries have been confirmed for this super-sized exhibition that will see participating nations all come together to exhibit their feats in every sector from industrial to scientific to technological.

Tickets to Expo 2020 will cost Dhs120 per day, and there will also be a three-day pass for Dhs260 that you can use for any three days during the entire Expo, running from October 2020 to April 2021. Children five years and under and people over the age of 65 will receive free admission.
