Until now, the UAE has had limited options for BMX, skateboarding or scooter fans, but this is about to change with the addition of Fujairah Adventure Park.

International pump track builders, Velosolutions, have created a brand-new skate park in Fujairah and it looks incredible. The park, close to City Centre Fujairah, is a 1800 square metre asphalt track and the first of its kind in the Middle East. It has a separate loop for kids, while the rest of the pump track is suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders.

Fujairah Adventure Park opened to the public on April 26, and it looks like some UAE residents just couldn’t wait to test it out for themselves. The free-to-use track is open at all times and is built for skateboards, roller skates, scooters and bikes with the promise of a bike rental shop opening up very soon.

Pro-BMXers, Mansour Al Safran and Abdulla Alhosani, were some of the first to try out the pump track which has Velosolutions’ new 3D design. The brand said that the new track is built with different levels, meaning some areas are higher than others, which is one of the first times they’ve designed in this way.

Velosolutions have built some of the best skate parks around the world, including Austria, Italy, Norway, Canada, UK, Brazil, Japan and more. The Swiss company teased on their social media page that they ‘will soon be in Dubai and Abu Dhabi as well’.

Plans for the Red Bull Pump Track World Championships are also in the works to take place at the Fujairah track in September 2019.
