“This is the only place on earth I would bring my wife to skydive for the first time…”

Will Smith has made no secret of the fact that he’s a fan of Dubai. In fact, he’s previously called it ‘his favourite city on earth’. So it should come as no surprise that for the first episode of his Facebook Watch series, Will Smith’s Bucket List, he brings the Smith clan to the emirate.

The first episode, which was shot back in October when Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith visited Dubai, dropped on Facebook on Wednesday February 27. The 22-minute video has already amassed almost 20 million views.

Opening the clip, the 50-year-old actor explains that “my wife made the mistake of  telling me she’d do whatever I wanted for my birthday” he begins, “and then I told her what I wanted was for her to sky dive with me,” Smith adds.

But they’re not the only ones. Also along for the trip are Smith’s sons, Trey and Jayden, and Jada’s parents.

Elsewhere in the episode, Will is seen visiting the Burj Khalifa, the location for this epic selfie:

The family are also seen checking in to Kempinski Mall of the Emirates, to a suite overlooking Ski Dubai, dune bashing in the desert and watching the Dubai Fountain show.

The six-episode series will see the American star tackle some of the world’s most thrilling adventures of part of his 50th birthday celebrations, which fell on September 25, 2018.
