Reel Cinemas will be screening patriotic films with a menu to match…

Pakistani and Indian nationals make up a large percentage of the expatriate population of the UAE and both countries have their independence days coming up this week – on August 14 and 15, respectively.

To help celebrate, Reel Cinemas is giving residents the chance to get extra patriotic, screening two hotly-anticipated Bollywood films, Gold and Satyamev Jayate, that will be releasing to coincide with the upcoming festivities.

Best of all, the cinema chain will be adding some appropriately-themed items to its menu so that cinemagoers can enjoy the tastes of the two celebrating nations. These include, mango lassi, Indian burrito, biriyani balls and (our favourite) super spicy popcorn.

The Independence Day promotion will be available at Reel Cinemas’ Dubai Mall and Jebel Ali Recreation Club outlets on August 14 and 15.
