With plenty of chances to snap a selfie with everyone’s favourite cartoon cat…

Fans of Japanese culture and all things kawaii get ready, the Hello Kitty Run is coming back to Dubai and bringing with it all the requisite cuteness you’d expect from the much beloved cartoon character.

Taking place at Zabeel Park on Friday, December 14, the non-competitive 5km fun run will have a ‘Winter Wonderland’ theme and will include Hello Kitty-themed events as well as live DJs, game stalls and plenty of family-friendly entertainment and F&B options.

The race will run from 9am to 12pm so you have plenty of time to enjoy a morning out in the picturesque Dubai park surrounded by other like-minded Hello Kitty fans.

You will, of course, also get the chance to meet, greet and snap a selfie with everyone’s favourite adorable anthropomorphic cartoon cat.

This is now the third time the Hello Kitty Run has taken place in Dubai, it was originally founded in Taiwan in 2014 to mark Hello Kitty’s 40th anniversary.

Early bird tickets are now on sale for Dhs95 and come with a welcome pack including a t-shirt (pink, of course), tote bag and a medal.
