The Dubai ruler drove by to greet volunteers and share some inspiring words

Volunteers received a pleasant surprise on Tuesday evening whilst handing out iftar meals on a busy Dubai road.

A familiar Mercedes G-Class SUV pulled up beside them and inside was none other than HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The moment was caught on camera by Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi – better known as the Green Sheikh – who posted this now-classic photo of Sheikh Mohammed interacting with one of the volunteers from the Al Ihsan Charity Association.

According to a translation by Gulf News, The Green Sheikh noted in his post:  “One of the most wonderful quotes that Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid said… With a positive outlook, you will see challenges as opportunities, the future full of success and people packed with potential, abilities, talent and goodness.”

Other residents also took to social media to share footage of the incident leading it go viral on both Instagram and Twitter.
