Sheikh Hamdan surprises an abra driver with a trip across Dubai Creek

Winning hearts and minds on land and at sea…

Proving, once again, that he’s one of the most down-to-earth royals on the planet, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, took to social media to post footage of an abra trip he took across the Dubai Creek earlier today.

The fact that he took the time out of a busy schedule that normally involves meeting tech luminaries and dining at the city’s hippest restaurants to enjoy a peaceful hop across the creek should be more than enough to cement him in our minds as a sincerely chill dude.

However, in a video posted to his Instagram Stories, Fazza then proceeds to shoot the breeze with the abra’s driver, asking his name (it’s Mubashir) and quite clearly making the man’s day. Yup, like we said, what a dude.
