No change to UAE petrol prices in April
The price at the pump will stay the same…
The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced fuel prices for the month of April, and it’s good news for vehicle owners.
Prices at the pump will mostly remain the same as in March, with Super 98 costing Dhs2.33 per litre, and Super 95 priced at Dhs2.22 per litre. The price of E Plus remains unchanged at Dhs2.14, while diesel has dropped a tiny bit from Dhs2.43 to 2.40.

All prices include the VAT rate of 5 per cent.
March was the first time fuel prices have dropped since the introduction of VAT at the start of the year, so here’s hoping it’s a pattern that will continue (or at least stay the same).
The UAE’s Ministry of Energy first began setting fuel prices based on average global prices in August 2015. Before that, the price of petrol in the UAE was subsidised by the government, which shielded consumers from global fluctuations in the cost of petrol.
SUPER 98 PRICES SO FAR FOR 2018
April: 2.33
March: 2.33
February: Dhs2.36
January: Dhs2.24
