Sponsored: There are heaps of festive activities at City Walk until December 25. Here’s your guide.

City Walk is buzzing now that the winter weather is here and we all want to be outside all of the time. Plus, it’s feeling mighty festive this week thanks to a bunch of Christmas activations being held all around the new destination, from Al Safa to Al Mustaqbal Street.

So, what can you find there?

WINTER MARKET

Well, there is a Winter Market in the centre of City Walk from 12pm to 10pm every day until Christmas Day itself. You’ll find festive decorations and gifts there. The market stalls include The Smudge Collection’s handmade candles, mermaid tails at Mermaids of Arabia, Antique Street’s homewares, Mexican handicrafts at Manta & Rebozo, Walid Claus’ Christmas clothing and gluten-free granola at Namita Rupani.

You can buy a very Dubai, but also very festive sweater at Walid Claus’ market stall.

Basically, there’s something for everyone at the market (we know where we’re going to pick up our stocking fillers).

ROAMING PERFORMANCES

Throughout the day (and especially during the evening) there will be roaming performances all around City Walk: expect acrobats, ballet performances, magic shows, dancers and more.

KIDS’ ACTIVITY CORNER

Plus, little ones will be kept entertained at the Kids’ Activity Corner, where they will be able to try out gingerbread man decorating workshops, festive card decorating classes and reindeer hat making sessions. These workshops are free, and the corner will also be open from 12pm to 10pm.

So much fun to be had! Plus, there are always new restaurants, cafes, shops and more to check out at City Walk, with more opening every week (last time we were there we spotted a super-cool London Black Cab that has been modified to be a coffee cart – love it).

City Walk, Al Safa and Al Mustaqbal Street, 12pm to 10pm for the activations, until December 25. More info on website.
