Need to know: Parking & public transport during Ramadan
The Holy Month of Ramadan is set to begin on May 27. Here’s how your commute will be affected.

PARKING
The hours you pay for parking will change over Ramadan. From Saturday to Thursday, parking tariffs will apply in zones A, B, C, D and G between 8am and 5pm, and 7pm and midnight.
In Dubai Silicon Oasis (zone H), tariffs will apply Saturday to Thursday between 8am and 10pm. In Tecom (zone F), tariffs will apply Saturday to Thursday between 8am and 6pm. At the Fish Market (zone E), tariffs will apply daily from 8am to 11pm.
METRO
Red line stations will be in service from 5.30am to midnight Saturday to Wednesday, and until 1am Thursday.
Green line stations will be in service from 5.50am to midnight Saturday to Wednesday, and until 1am Thursday.
On Friday, red and green line stations will operate from 10am to 1am.
DUBAI TRAM
Dubai Tram will operate from 6.30am to 1am Saturday to Thursday, and from 9am to 1am Friday.
BUS
Gold Souq Station will open from 4.25 am to midnight, and Al Ghubaiba Station from 4.30 am to midnight.
Metro Link bus stations, including Al Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirate, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall, Abu Hail and Etisalat, will open from 5am to 12.20am. The timing of all Metro Link buses will match the timing of the metro service.
MARINE TRANSPORT
The Water Bus will shuttle at Marina stations from noon to midnight.
The Water Taxi will operate from 9am to 10pm.
Dubai Ferry will operate from Ghubaiba Station at 11am and 6.30pm, from Marina stations at 11am, 5pm and 6.30pm, from Al Jaddaf Station to Dubai Water Canal Station at 10am and 5.30pm, and from Dubai Water Canal Station to Al Jaddaf Station at 12.05pm and 7.35pm.
Traditional abra will operate at Ghubaiba, Baniyas and Dubai Old Souq from 10am to midnight, at Al Jaddaf Station and Dubai Festival City from 7am to midnight, and at the Sheikh Zayed Road station (Dubai Water Canal) from 8pm to 2am.
The electric abra will operate at Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall from 8pm to 11.30pm, and at Al Mamzar from 8pm to 2am.
