Yes, the department store with the John Lewis section inside it has opened, but there are even more exclusive brands to find inside Robinsons Dubai.

Scroll down for a list of the brands Robinsons is adding to the Dubai shopping scene.

Sure, the Hyperpanda there is closing down, but with IKEA and now a John Lewis homeware section inside the new Robinsons department store, Festival Centre mall is becoming quite the home shopping hot spot.

That’s right, Robinsons is now open in Dubai.

Robinsons is a Singapore-based department store that also has a branch in Kuala Lumpur, and the new Dubai location is spread across three levels and 200,000 square feet, and boasts 600 brands.

In fact, they’re calling themselves the largest department store in the region (fighting words!) – and have 90 fashion and beauty brands that are exclusive to the store.

Oh, and there’s the John Lewis home collection too, which is apparently priced similarly to that in the UK. The 15,000 square foot John Lewis homeware area sells furniture, cookware, textiles, glassware and nursery products. It also stocks the John Lewis bed, bath, living and gifting range. You can check out what John Lewis offers in the home department here.

The department store has vertical gardens cascading from its walls and escalators – the lush greenery a nod to the brand’s Singaporean roots – and there’s a section inside it called The Collector, which presents exclusive collection from five local Emirati designers.

Oh, and fans of bulletproof coffee and matcha smoothies will be pleased to hear there’s now a Wild & The Moon juice bar and healthy food corner in the department store too. So if you’re after a raw food curry rather than a shwarma after your next IKEA trawl, you’re now in luck.

THE STORE’S EXCLUSIVE BRANDS…

If you’re not British/don’t really care about John Lewis homeware, here are some of the other brands that are exclusive to the new store…

Side note: The pics used are just examples of the brands – the products shown may not necessarily be in store.
