You’ll be able to see the real-life Disney princess at Dubai Opera.

Tony Award-winning singer and actress Lea Salonga will perform two shows at Dubai Opera in September, it has been announced.

Who is Lea Salonga? Basically, she’s a musical theatre legend. The Filipina artist was the original star of Miss Saigon, in the role of Kim, and provided the singing voices of two Disney princesses, Jasmine and Mulan. 

She was also the first Asian actress to play the role of Eponine in Les Miserables on Broadway.

The singer has also starred in productions of Cinderella, My Fair Lady and Cats, as well as selling more than 19 million copies of her albums worldwide, making her one of the best-selling Filipino artists of all time.

She will be taking to the Dubai Opera stage to perform some of her most beloved Disney hits and Broadway classics on September 22 and 23.

Tickets will go on sale on the Dubai Opera website at 9am tomorrow.
