Dubai Metro timings to be extended this week: Here's why...
You’ll be able to ride the metro beyond midnight this week because they’re expecting more people to take it than usual…
This Wednesday and Saturday, Dubai Metro will run until 1am (while it usually only runs until midnight).
Why? Well, because of the crowds expected to be flocking to Gitex Shopper at Dubai World Trade Centre in the hope of finding discounted electronics (we’ll bring you more on that later in the week).

The RTA announced the timing change on Twitter, saying that both the Red and Green line service will be extended by an hour on both Wednesday March 29 and Saturday April 1.
This means the Red line will run from 5.30am to 1am (the next day) on both days and the Green line from 5.50am to 1am (again, the next day).
