The best thing about this particular supermarket is that it’s still relatively empty, which means no checkout queues, but plenty of products still in store, resulting in significantly lower stress levels than other Carrefour branches.

While Borders isn’t generally as impressive on the literature front as Kinokunya (in Dubai Mall), it is a great one-stop-shop for games, stationery, toys and – of course – the odd book. They always have great 3 for 2 deals on paperbacks too.
